Finding Ad - Our daughter as a toddler

China publishes finding ads of children who are found and are not claimed. Our daughter was found in 2001, however, her ad wasn't placed until she was 2 years and 8 months old in 2004. We guess that this is when her welfare institute decided she was "adoptable" - after the repair of her cleft lip. It may also be that Wuhan CWI did not start to routinely publish the ads until then. We are amazed at her precious smile! And she also looks the same as a toddler as she does now!

Her finding ad was published on April 23, 2004 - almost on our first year wedding anniversary (April 26th).

She was found near Tazi Lake Shuizi Park, Jinag'An Disrict in Wuhan. Here is a description of the aquariam at this location.

Wuhan New World Aquarium, located at Tazi Lake, Jiang'an District, Hankou, coves 60,000 square meters. This aquarium is characterized by freshwater rare wild animals including over 50 kinds of national A or B level protected animals (such as Chinese sturgeon, Chinese alligator, cowfish, black swan, yellow duck, peacock, mullet, giant salamander and so on), more than 200 kinds of rare plants and over 500 kinds of famous and precious fish from other countries like silk carp from Japan, seven color angel fish, gold dragon fish from South Africa and so on.

JunFen was "protected by angels" as a special needs child found at this place that protects what is precious! We hope to visit her finding place when we soon go to China.
