Right now I'm listening to a Mandarin CD that has phrases of comfort and practicality to learn for adopting. In fact, I just heard the Mandarin for "pee-pee" - this may be good to learn for our long plane ride!
Jerry and I are overwhelmed at the emails expressing support from folks around the world - even from Holland! It seems our little JunFen has become an ambassador for special needs older child adoption - primarily through her smile that simply melts hearts!
Grateful and still floating!!! The photo is one of many we are saving of Wuhan. Such a huge metropolitan area - we had never heard of! It has a rich ancient history and is also one of the "modern" cities so quickly developing - way bigger than the Twin Cities. We wonder if our little one is being fostered in the city...and will she soon be placed in the orphanage until we get her? We're aching to hug her and to provide her the most loving home and family we can!
